Match report Fishlake were brushed aside in the Evening League Cup Final by an in form Broddy side. Digger Barnes got the Man Of The Match award for his 36 runs followed by taking 3-12 to wrap the match up.
A solid opening partnership of 44 by Taggy and Brad was bettered by one of 64 between Steve and Digger, Simon and Mick Rog adding 10 off the last over to post a fairly modest 125-5, but it prooved to be more than enough as Stam Harris (1-19), Taggy (1-17), Bean (1-21) and Simon (3-8) coupled with tight fielding were too good on the day for Fishlake. Rog took two catches out of the clouds on the boundary off Simon and Digger wrapped the game up taking the last 3.
