Brodsworth Main Cricket Club Won 7 runs

Match report BMCC V RMCC.
BMCC lost the toss and was put in to bat, Opening Batters were Karl Buxton and Adrian Price. Unfortunatly for Karl after only 4 runs he was bowled. in goes big Mase!! for the next few overs mase and adie push the ball about the field and punish the few bad balls. Then unfortunatly Mase gets caught out for 30 runs, cracking nock from a youngster! in goes Monty!! adie and monty push the ball about a bit but unfortunatly Adie gets caught by the same guy that got mase! but for a cracking nock of 48!! in comes John King to join Monty at the crease. after a few singles and a 2 for john he gets caught behind. in comes Dean Sommerville.
with a quick spell including one 4 and two 2's he was then caught! in comes young belly! who pushes the ball about brilliantly, couple of 4's and a few singles but was unfortunatly bowled out, time for young olly to join monty @ the crease. With a cracking cover drive they ran 3. Next over Olly decided that running at the bowler would put him off and could cream him...unfortunatly he missed and was stumped, in comes Belly Snr. with a quick single putting monty on strike on 44 runs, hit one to leg side but unfortunatly straight into a fielders hand, in comes the LEG END!! mick cass! few balls later mick and belly pushing it about belly hits a 3 and a 4! MICK C hits a single and a 4!! come on mick!! cracking batting spell with a total of 177.
Out we comes to bowl!
with belly and mick cas opening, unfortunatly mick cass's bowling just wasn't working but belly's bowling was spot on! On come adie to bowl from mick cass's end, with superb bowling. As it come to the end of belly's spell Karl comes on to bowl some spin, Karl bowled some cracking spin from the top end with some brilliant turn happening. On comes Monty to replace Adie to give him a rest, but unfortunatly his bowling was not up to par. so come back adie and bucko to pin back the runs and make it hard for RMCC to win. Unfortunatly belly injured his ankle and Karl come back spinning it. It was a Cracking performace from all our players and every effort from every player was well appreciated, especially since it was FREEZING!
