Match report Low scoring game in which we batted first and got off to a nightmare start losing both openers for ducks. A good 32 from Will Drury steadied the ship and contribution from Stu Boycott Cutmore and a crash bang 43 from Burnsy got us up to 110 all out. Which looked below par.
Hensall got off to a fair start and looked in control despite good bowling from Cass (3 wickets for 40 off 10 overs). The devastating bowling came from under 15 bowler Bradley Maddison who was practically unplayable and ripped through the middle order. Maddo finished with 5 wickets for 8 runs off 6 overs. Youth is our only way forward at the moment and we had four juniors representing the 1st XI today. Josh bell a steady 3 overs for 7 runs and Kezza 8 overs for 8 runs did the junior section proud. Well done boys a good win!!
