Match report Monk Bretton have proved formidable opposition in the last few years, we haven't beat em for long enough. So a good victory was well overdue.
Monk Bretton batted first and managed to battle towards a 147 all out. Enough on a scorchio day.Bowling honours got to Simon Oldham 7 for 51 off 15.2. Superb in the conditions. Will Drury did his 'Michael Holding' impression, steaming in off his long run and managed to grab a brace.
Big Al took all his frustrations from Saturday out of Monk Bretton and smashed 104 not out. He had a couple of junior partners Dicky Hull 12 and Reg Drury 17 not out. Another 6 points.
