1st XI finally succumb, 2nd XI Win, 3rd XI Battered

30 May 2012

The 3rd team faced an uphill task against Whitley Hall Colts and thats how it turned out. Batting 1st they put on 91 Dean Somerville top scored with 22. A classy young Whitley side knocked em off in 20 overs for the loss of one wicket.

The 1st XI finally tasted defeat. On a small ground at Hundhill were bowled out for 185 off 45 overs. Top bowling performances go to Bucko who was below par this week and only got a four fer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Josh Bell 2, Ady Price 2 and the ever young Mr Cassinelli 2.

Despite for batters getting into double figures we fell 20 short.
Ady Price 35, Belly 28, Joe Southam 23, Joe Warren 18 and Mason 15.

The feeling from the lads was this was not one of there better days and they are determined to put that right on Saturday against Bullcroft....

The 2nd XI lead by Belly as Goose was having a disappointing day at Wembley manged a easy victory over Nostell.

We bowledw well and restricted Nostell to 90. The Broddy young guns taking centre stage. Maddo, Al Snaith and Olly Challen getting 2 wickets each.
Despite losing this season top batter JK very early a mature knock from Gaz Mountain 38 and Al Snaith 28 saw us knock up 91 off 16 overs. Job done.
