Senior Teams Tables 13/09/2011

13 Sep 2011

Senior team tables are updated.

The 3rd and 4th teams have finished.

The 1st and 2nds go into the last week of the season facing relegation.

Its been a very difficult year for Broddy, without a number of stalwart 1st team players, the 1st and 2nd XI have had to play most weeks with a number of juniors. Although of undoubted talent and potential its been very hard for them in struggling senior sides missing lots of good players.

No doubt both captains will be ready for a break!

The thirds have been a great success. Winning 5 games after not winning one for 3 seasons. Lead by Mick Rog SNR and Martin Baggers and full of 15 year olds and club cricketers they have been a credit to us all.

The 4th XI had a difficult task on bettering last years success. But arguably they have also done the club proud. Up a division after promotion last year they look like finishing 3rd and maybe promotion into the top division in the Barnsley Sunday League. No mean achievement. On a individual basis, special mention should got to Al Elliott and Simon Oldham because as we speak with only a few days left of the season, both stand top of the pile. Currently Alec has the most runs in all 3 divisions and Simon is the highest wicket taker!
Lets hope they hold onto their positions!
