Brodsworth Main Cricket Club

All three Saturdays teams tasted defeat for what proved to be another bad Saturday.

The 1st XI just get put in, cant get a score so are always behind the game. They only achieved 103 all out which was knocked off easily.

The 2nds are struggling for a team really and thus the results aren't happening.
They managed 140 odd but couldn't defend it.

THe 3rds looked in the game at Adwick. Needing 153 then were within striking distance but just kept on losing wickets. Finally falliny 8 runs short.

The Sunday 4th XI battered a under strength Higham team. They only managed 78 all out. Broddy knocked em off for 1 wicket down. Al Elliott a quickfire 50.

We've got to keep going and pull in one direction. Its no good getting dispondent.

We have loads of juniors getting exposed to senior cricket in all three Saturday sides, thay are doing well. Gaining invaluable experience! I'm sure we will get the reward next year when the majority will be 16 and if we can keep them involved BMCC will reap the rewards.
